The types of accommodation vary greatly depending on the destination. The preferred kinds of lodging include: staying with local families, “hosterias”(small hotels which are often run by a family), farm houses, mountain hostels and sometimes we may camp. The hotels are generally of the small and family run type and we can not always guarantee a double room with private bathroom. In some circumstances it may also be necessary to share a room with four people.
